Caleb Francis

CALEB FRANCIS

DEFENSIVE BACK, #1, JUNIOR

A dynamic playmaker in the Blue Hose secondary, Caleb Francis has been a steady force in Presbyterian’s defense since his arrival. As a sophomore in 2023, he started all 11 games, helping anchor a unit that allowed just 144 passing yards per game—ranking third-best in FCS football. Francis recorded 36 tackles, with 78 percent coming in solo efforts, and made his mark in key moments with three takeaways. His 32-yard interception return for a touchdown in the home opener against Virginia-Lynchburg set the tone for a strong season, followed by a forced fumble against San Diego and a game-sealing interception in the final minute versus Morehead State. He consistently delivered against PFL competition, tallying at least four tackles in five league matchups and adding a tackle-for-loss in the season finale win.

Francis made his collegiate debut in 2022, playing in nine games as a true freshman with four starts. He posted 18 tackles—16 of them solo—including a TFL in his first game at Austin Peay. His development continued with a pass breakup in the final home contest against Dayton.

Originally from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida, Francis chose Presbyterian College for its coaching staff and community. Inspired by NFL star Jalen Ramsey, he embraces the drive to be the best. He is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, preparing for a future beyond the game.

“This football team is the one that can change things for generations on, we have the potential and talent to show people who we really can be. If you don’t believe me, watch this season. Go Blue Hose!” – Caleb Francis

As a freshman in 2023, he started all 11 games, quickly earning All-PFL Honorable Mention recognition. A key contributor in Presbyterian’s offense, Hill helped lead a unit that accumulated over 3,600 total yards—an improvement of 300 yards from the previous season. His blocking paved the way for seven games with at least 100 rushing yards while providing the protection needed for two 300-yard passing performances. Thanks in part to his consistency in the trenches, the Blue Hose offense averaged 329 total yards per contest, giving the team a balanced and competitive attack.
Before arriving at Presbyterian College, Hill played at Highland Community College, following a strong prep career at Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia. Known for his leadership and work ethic, he has always been a player who leads by example. Off the field, he is pursuing a degree in Education with aspirations of becoming a coach. Building on a strong freshman season in 2022, Horlback made an immediate impact, appearing in nine games and leading the team with five quarterback pressures. He totaled 34 tackles, with 6.5 coming behind the line of scrimmage for a combined loss of 28 yards. Each of his tackles for loss came in PFL play, with a standout 2.5-TFL effort in the season finale at Stetson. He also recorded his first collegiate sack in a home contest against Valparaiso.

A product of Fort Dorchester High School in Summerville, South Carolina, Horlback brought a strong defensive mindset and high motor to the Blue Hose program. With his ability to disrupt offenses and make plays in key moments, he continues to be a foundational piece of Presbyterian’s defense as he heads into his junior season.

“Presbyterian College football represents family, resilience, and growth. For me, the opportunity to compete alongside my teammates has been invaluable. The Garnet & Blue Collective has made it easier for athletes like me to continue building something greater than ourselves while pursuing our lifelong goals. Thank you for being part of something that is on its way to becoming truly special.” – Malek Horlback

Dominic Kibby

Wide Receiver, #1, Junior

A dynamic playmaker and one of the most electrifying wide receivers in the Pioneer Football League, Dominic Kibby has been a cornerstone of the Blue Hose offense since his freshman campaign. A two-time All-PFL selection, Kibby elevated his game to new heights in 2023, earning a spot on the First Team after leading Presbyterian in receiving for the second consecutive year. He racked up 776 yards on 44 receptions, averaging 17 yards per catch—ranking second in the conference—and 70 receiving yards per game, good for fourth in the PFL.

A record-breaking performance against Butler highlighted his sophomore season on September 30, where he amassed a league-best 199 yards, including a 93-yard touchdown reception—the longest passing play in Presbyterian’s Division I history. That outing also secured him the fourth-most receiving yards in a single game by any PC player in the D-I era. Kibby was a consistent force throughout the season, catching at least three passes in all 11 games, hauling in multiple touchdown grabs in two contests, and averaging 74 receiving yards per game against PFL opponents. His stellar performance earned him preseason and postseason All-League honors from Phil Steele, reinforcing his reputation as the Blue Hose’s go-to target.

Kibby burst onto the scene as a freshman in 2022, delivering one of the most outstanding debut seasons in Presbyterian’s 15-year Division I history. He was named to the All-PFL Second Team and the Hero Sports FCS Freshman All-America squad after leading the team in nearly every receiving category, including receptions (41), yards (796), touchdowns (7), and yards per catch (19.4). His 796 yards and 19 yards per reception led the entire conference, making him the only wideout to post four 100+ yard performances.

His breakout game came against Dayton on November 5, where he hauled in seven catches for 212 yards and three touchdowns—all of which exceeded 30 yards. That performance earned him FCS National Freshman of the Week honors. Kibby closed his debut season with 975 all-purpose yards, ranking sixth in the league, and recorded the highest receiving total by a PC freshman in the D-I era, finishing fourth all-time among Blue Hose receivers in single-season yards.

Prior to his time at Presbyterian, Kibby was a standout at Mount Saint Joseph High School, where he earned First Team All-MIAA and Second Team All-Metro honors while helping his team capture the 2018 MIAA Championship. A multi-sport athlete, he also competed in track and field and was actively involved in the student council and the O’Neil Peer Education program. Inspired by his coaches and former teammate Donte Thornton, Kibby chose PC for its strong academic and athletic environment. He is pursuing a degree in business and continues to set the standard for excellence on and off the field.
